Through effective and engaging computer science (CS) programming, Urban Arts guides students from middle school and high school to college and early career. Our students learn creative confidence and high-tech skills, as well as collaboration, leadership, and entrepreneurship.

Become a Volunteer

There are many ways to engage with Urban Arts and support the next generation of creative technologists—from a one-hour career conversation to a hands-on workshop, corporate volunteer experience, or opportunity to hire our students and alumni. Opportunities are available in person at our NYC Learning Lab, at our Community Schools, or virtually.

Share Your Expertise. Speak with students about your career, lead a workshop, participate in a Career Takeover Day, or share industry insights.
Build Connections. Join a networking event, Career Day, or community-building experience that connects students with professionals.
Support College & Career Success. Review resumes and portfolios, research scholarships, or share internships and job opportunities with our students and alumni.
Create & Play. Playtest student games, provide creative feedback, or invite students to test your game and share their perspectives.
Open Your Doors. Host Urban Arts at your office, campus, museum, or other space, or provide a classroom or meeting space for student programming.
Custom Partnerships. Have a group of employees or a unique idea for engaging with students? We can work with you to create an experience tailored to your company, industry, and goals.
