The Garden is characterized by its shifting tone. At the outset, the game is light, bright, and joyful. The player enjoys watching the garden grow. As the garden slips into greed, the tone darkens. The garden is twisted where it was once beautiful and wild where it was once tame. By the final puzzle, the garden has become the antagonist.
